Proteins encoded by figla, foxl2, scp3 and sox9a play important roles in gonad differentiation and reproduction. In the present study, we aimed to determine the responsiveness of figla, foxl2, scp3 and sox9a to 17α-ethinylestradiol (EE2) in the gonads of adult Gobiocypris rarus. Full-length cDNAs of figla, scp3 and sox9a were cloned and characterized by RT-PCR and RACE methods. Expression patterns in adult tissues were investigated.
