Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third leading cause of cancer-associated mortalities. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been identified as key regulators in the occurrence and development of CRC. The lncRNA urothelial cancer associated 1 (UCA1) has been demonstrated to promote the development of numerous different types of cancer.
