Description

CD19 mRNA is a transmembrane glycoprotein primarily expressed on B lymphocytes. It plays two major roles in human B cells: acting as an adaptor protein to recruit cytoplasmic signaling proteins to the membrane and working within the CD19/CD21 complex to decrease the threshold for B cell receptor signaling pathways.

Transfect 0.5μg of CD19 mRNA into one well of cells in a 24-well plate with Lipofectamine™ MessengerMAX™ (or equivalent). 24-48 hours after transfection, detect the expression of CD19 protein using flow cytometry with staining by BD Pharmingen™ APC Mouse Anti-Human CD19 antibody (Catalog No:55541).
