BCMA/TNFRSF17[Biotin], His & Avi, Human

B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA or BCM), also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 17 (TNFRSF17), is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TNFRSF17 gene.TNFRSF17 is a cell surface receptor of the TNF receptor superfamily which recognizes B-cell activating factor (BAFF).

Protein Construction
BCMA/TNFRSF17[Biotin] (Met1-Ala54)
Accession # Q02223-1
His Avi
N-term C-term
Purity > 95% as determined by Bis-Tris PAGE
Endotoxin Level Less than 1EU per μg by the LAL method.
Biological Activity Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA.Test result was comparable to standard batch.
Expression System HEK293
Theoretical Molecular Weight 8.9 kDa
Apparent Molecular Weight The protein has a predicted MW of 8.9 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 12 kDa and 15-17 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
Formulation Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
Storage & Stability Upon receiving, the product remains stable for 6 months at -20 °C or below. Upon reconstitution, the product should be stable for 3 months at -80 °C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
