Description

The GenScript CFXpress™ Plus Cell-free E. coli Protein Synthesis Kit is a ready-to-use platform optimized for rapid, high-yield in vitro synthesis of proteins with disulfide bonds, such as VHHs and scFvs. The required folding chaperones and redox-modifying reagents are pre-formulated into the system or included in the kit, enabling a streamlined workflow with minimal hands-on time.
The kit consists of five main components:
• Cell Extract Plus
• Protein Synthesis Buffer
• Control Plasmid
• DB Oxidizer
• DB Reducer
By following the provided protocol and combining Cell Extract Plus and Protein Synthesis Buffer with the target DNA templates, with DB Oxidizer and DB Reducer added as required, protein expression can be achieved within a few hours.
Synthesized proteins are compatible with downstream characterization, purification, and functional assays. The system is also compatible with high-throughput automation workflows and dialysis-based methods.
