Description

The GenScript CFXpress Cell-free E. coli Protein Synthesis Kit (CFPS) is a ready-to-use platform for rapid, high-yield in vitro protein expression from DNA under the control of a T7 promoter.

The kit consists of three main components:
•Cell Extract
•Protein Synthesis Buffer
•Positive Control Plasmid

By following the provided protocol and combining Cell Extract and Protein Synthesis Buffer with your target templates, protein expression can be achieved within a few hours. The system supports both plasmid and linear DNA templates. Synthesized proteins are compatible with downstream characterization, purification, and functional assays. The system is compatible with high-throughput automation workflows.

Size The kit is available in two sizes:
1 mL Kit: Suitable for 20 reactions (50 µL each)
Includes:
•Cell Extract x 2 Tubes
•Protein Synthesis Buffer x 2 Tubes
•Control Plasmid x 1 Tube
5 mL Kit: 
Includes:
•Cell Extract x 5 Tubes
•Protein Synthesis Buffer x 5 Tubes 
•Control Plasmid x 1 tube
Application •Rapid production and screening of proteins such as antibody fragments, mini binders, mini proteins, and enzymes, supporting fast AI-driven design and testing cycles
•Express of cell-toxic proteins
Volume Cell Extract: ~ 0.17 mL/ tube; Protein Synthesis buffer: ~ 0.26mL/ tube

We recommend our cloning vectors: pT7-N-His and pT7-C-His for constructs requiring His-tagged proteins. For additional information on available vectors, refer to our GenScript Vector Library.
