Product description CH1CaptureXP Affinity Resin FF is a novel affinity chromatography resin developed with a highly specific CH1 binder, specifically designed for the selective capture and purification of antibodies and antibody fragments containing the human CH1 (Constant Heavy 1) domain.
The resin utilizes an immobilized CH1-specific binder to selectively bind to the CH1 domain of the antibody heavy chain, enabling efficient capture of target antibodies or antibody fragments from cell culture supernatants, fermentation broths, and other complex biological samples. Unlike conventional Protein A-based purification, which primarily captures antibodies through recognition of the Fc region, CH1CaptureXP Affinity Resin FF does not require an intact Fc region and is therefore particularly suitable for the purification of bispecific antibodies, human Fab, F(ab')₂, selected antibody fragments, and other CH1-containing antibody formats. The resin is suitable for the purification of human IgG1, IgG2, and IgG4, providing a versatile solution for the purification of different antibody molecules and antibody fragments. Among these subclasses, the resin exhibits the strongest binding performance and highest binding capacity toward human IgG1, enabling efficient antibody purification.
With excellent binding selectivity, CH1CaptureXP Affinity Resin FF enables efficient target protein capture and recovery while helping to minimize the co-purification of nonspecific proteins and impurities such as free light chains (FLCs), thereby facilitating the recovery of highly purified antibodies and antibody fragments. The resin is suitable for laboratory-scale antibody purification, antibody fragment preparation, and downstream process development.
Key Features ● Specifically recognizes the CH1 region of the antibody heavy chain, enabling highly selective capture while minimizing the co-purification of non-specific proteins, free light chains, and other impurities.
● Does not depend on an intact Fc region, making it an alternative capture medium for antibody molecules that are not suitable for Protein A-based purification.
● Exhibits excellent alkali stability and good reusability.
