pLenti-Rev (LP2)
pLenti-Rev (LP2) expresses the Rev protein, which regulates the nuclear export of unspliced and partially spliced viral RNA through interaction with the RRE in the pLenti-MDLgpRRE (LP1) plasmid. Rev is essential for the efficient expression of viral structural and packaging genes, allowing for proper lentivirus production. It is used together with pLenti-MDLgpRRE (LP1) to facilitate Rev-mediated RNA processing and pLenti-VSVG to complete lentiviral vector packaging.
