MonoRab™ Anti-Strep Tag II Antibody, MAb, Rabbit

A comparative detection of E.coli, Yeast, CHO-S, and HEK-293 whole cell lysate without Strep Tag II Protein by Western blot was performed using MonoRab™ Anti-Strep Tag II Antibody, mAb, Rabbit (GenScript, A02342) and Strep Tag II Antibody (Competitor A), both at a 1:1000 dilution.
C-terminal, N-terminal Strep tag II fusion proteins served as positive controls. »

MonoRab™ Anti-Strep Tag II Antibody, MAb, Rabbit

A comparative detection of N-terminal Strep tag II fusion proteins by Western blot was performed using MonoRab™ Anti-Strep Tag II Antibody, mAb, Rabbit (GenScript, A02342) and Strep Tag II Antibody (Competitor A), both at a 1:1000 dilution.
Each antibody was used to detect the same fusion proteon sample containing a N-terminal Strep tag II. »

MonoRab™ Anti-Strep Tag II Antibody, MAb, Rabbit

BLI (Biolayer interferometry) binding affinity measurements of MonoRab™ Anti-Strep Tag II Antibody, mAb, Rabbit (GenScript, A02342) to Strep tag II fusion proteins.
A02342 was captured using a protein A probe and subsequently bound to a Strep tag II fusion protein. The dissociation constants (KD) for the N-terminal Strep tag II, C-terminal Strep tag II, and twin-Strep tag II fusion proteins are 2.04 nM, 160 pM, and ≤1 pM, respectively. This demonstrates a higher affinity compared to the affinity of Strep-Tactin XT for Strep tag II (~ 27 nM) and twin-Strep tag II (~ 62 pM). »

MonoRab™ Anti-Strep Tag II Antibody, MAb, Rabbit

Anti-Strep Tag II Antibody binds to Strep tag II fusion proteins in ELISA assay.
C-terminal, N-terminal, Internal Strep tag II fusion proteins, or twin-Strep tag II fusion protein were coated at a concentration of 1 μg/mL. Subsequently, MonoRab™ Anti-Strep Tag II Antibody, mAb, Rabbit (GenScript, A02342) was serially diluted starting from 1 μg/mL and added. Detection was carried out using Mouse Anti-Rabbit IgG Fc Antibody (14H9H10) [HRP], mAb (GenScript, A01856) diluted at 1:20,000. »

Target Background The Strep-tag II consists of eight amino acids (Trp-Ser-His-Pro-Gln-Phe-Glu-Lys), whereas the Twin-Strep-tag includes this motif two times in series connected by a linker and is accordingly composed of 28 amino acids. Strep-tag II are commonly used as an affinity tag in protein purification and detection and are known for its high binding affinity to streptavidin mutants. The strep-tag II has been widely used in various molecular biology and protein research applications due to its specificity and versatility.
Synonyms Strep-tag II; Strep tag; Twin-Strep-tag
