A His tag is an amino acid motif in proteins that consists of at least six histidine. It is also known as hexa histidine-tag, 6xHis-tag, His6 tag and polyhistidine-tag. This antibody can greatly improve the effectiveness of several different kinds of immunoassays, helping researchers identify and detect His-tagged fusion proteins in bacteria, insect cells, and mammalian cells.
