An alternative product for purchase is Z03585.

Interleukin-1 beta (rpIL-1β) is a proinflammatory cytokine produced in a variety of cells including monocytes, tissue macrophages, keratinocytes and other epithelial cells. IL-1α and IL-1β are structurally related polypeptides that share approximately 27% amino acid (aa) identity in porcine. While IL-1α and IL-1β are regulated independently, they bind to the same receptor and exert identical biological effects. IL-1β stimulates thymocyte proliferation by inducing il-2 release, b-cell maturation and proliferation, and fibroblast growth factor activity.
